# Frequently Asked Questions for using Siempre Feedback

Source: https://siemprefeedback.com/frequently-asked-questions-faq

## **What is Siempre Feedback?**

A QR-code feedback platform for physical locations. Customers scan a code where the experience happens (at the table, the reception desk, the washroom, on a delivery bag) and tell you how it went in about five seconds. You see it live, while there’s still time to fix it.

**Do customers need an app or an account?**
No. They scan the QR code with their phone camera and answer straight away. No app, no login, no email address.

## **How is this different from a survey?**

A survey arrives days later and most people skip it. Siempre Feedback catches the moment itself, from the customers who would never open a survey. **It doesn’t replace your survey; it sits in front of it.**

## **How is this different from Google reviews?**

A review is the public verdict after the customer has left. Siempre Feedback gives you the same signal privately and earlier, so you can fix the problem before it becomes a one-star review. Happy customers can then be sent on to your Google review page.

## **Is the feedback anonymous? Is it GDPR compliant?**

Feedback is anonymous by default and customers don’t have to share any personal data, unless they want to share (email only). That data is stored securely and the business can download it and process it further. Siempre Feedback doesn’t use this data for its own purposes. All our servers are in the EU. See our [privacy policy](https://siemprefeedback.com/siempre-feedback-privacy-policy/) for details.

## **What do I need to get started?**

Just a printer. Create an account, print your QR codes and put them where the experience happens. Most businesses are live the same day, with no tablets, kiosks or installation.

## **What happens after a customer gives feedback?**

It appears on your live dashboard, sorted by location and topic, so it’s clear what to fix and where. You can compare locations, shifts and touchpoints side by side.

## **Can I use it for more than one location?**

Yes. Each location gets its own QR codes and its own view on the dashboard. Adding a location is as simple as printing a new code.

## **How much does it cost?**

You can start for free. The paid Better and Greatest plans add things like your own branding and advanced reporting. No credit card is needed to start. See [pricing](https://siemprefeedback.com/pricing/).

## **Can you set it up for me?**

Yes.

## **Won’t I only get complaints?**

No. Because it takes five seconds and is anonymous, you hear from the quiet middle as well, not just the very happy or very angry. That gives you a much more honest picture.

## **What is feedback?**

Feedback is information or a reaction about someone’s performance, behaviour or a process. Its purpose is to help the receiver adjust and improve future outcomes.

## **What are the 3 types of feedback?**

Evaluative (assessing how something went against a goal), coaching (advice on how to improve) and appreciative (recognition and motivation).

## **What is a feedback loop?**

A feedback loop is a cycle in which the result of an action is captured, compared with a goal and used to adjust the next action. A thermostat is the classic example; in business it means collecting feedback, acting on it and checking again.

## **What is the difference between positive and negative feedback?**

Positive feedback highlights what went well; negative feedback points out what went wrong. Both are useful when they are specific and focused on the task rather than the person.

## **Why is real-time feedback more accurate?**

Feedback given days later is shaped by memory, which tends to remember the most intense moment and the ending of an experience. Feedback captured in the moment reflects the experience itself.

## **What makes feedback effective?**

Effective feedback is timely, specific, focused on the task rather than the person, and followed by visible action.
